Targeted Industries
Welcome to the SCEDO Website
Sierra County New Mexico is the "Home of Spaceport America"
The Commercial Aerospace Industry is exploding. $80B in 2010 and growing, the commercial aerospace economy is three times the size of NASA and the Dept. of Defense combined! Our federal government has been charged with cost controls that are driving government aerospace expenditures into the commercial economy with the best example being the recent discontinuance of the NASA Shuttle Program.
Companies like Virgin Galactic, UP Aerospace and Armadillo Aerospace are leading the way in new technologies like oxygen based propellants and horizontal launch space missions. …and they are already working at Spaceport America.
Spaceport America is the ONLY facility in the World that has been
designed specifically as a commercial aerospace spaceport. There is
no unnecessary infrastructure that has to be paid for and there is
far less red tape to get to launch. Other states are moving forward
to develop spaceports but Spaceport America in Sierra County is
years ahead. Come see how your Company can utilize this amazing
facility- it is ready to serve your needs. ..and so are we, here in
Sierra County New Mexico
