Airport

As a convenient mode of transportation, the Sierra County Airport provides easy access for recreation, shipping or other travel needs.

The Sierra County airport is located just west of Elephant Butte and is easily accessible from Interstate 25. The airport features a 7200 foot runway with infrastructure capable of handling corporate jets and smaller aircraft. The elevation at the site is 4,853ft. Both Jet Fuel and Gas are available 7am – 5pm. On-call service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
