Our county is home to Truth or Consequences which sits atop a huge pool of 100+ degree mineral water, part of the beautiful Gila Wilderness, Elephant Butte & Caballo Reservoirs, Elephant Butte & Percha Dams, a wonderful agricultural valley with roadside stands, historic Engle and part of Journado del Muerto, and any number of historic ghost towns. Once you come for a visit you may just decide to stay and call Sierra County "home."
