Sierra County Economic Development Organization
SCEDO was founded in 1990 by 50 local businesses that wanted to help
introduce economic growth in Sierra County. SCEDO was also founded to
allow local economic development by channeling public funds to sustainable
projects as an intermediary to avoid anti donation ordinance issues.
SCEDO continues to function as a central organization to serve as a
hub for economic development with governments and private business both
in and outside Sierra County.
